Getting Behind

Many things have happened since my last post. John and Alice came down for a visit. Luckily they stayed for an entire week because we were able to see them, vacation, then see them again. The girls loved hanging out with their Aunt and Uncle. (They also loved hanging out with their P-papa, Grammy, Aunt Dana, Uncle Todd, and Baby Noah) We went swimming over here at our house, went to Grammy and P-papa's house, went to Dana's house, and Ali and I were able to do a little shopping in there too. All the while, Brent,Carley, Anna Claire, and myself went to Jekyll. What a great memorable week. We had such a wonderful time being able to see my brother and sister in law that live in another state. We miss them so much and hope that they will be able to move closer to home very soon. I will post some pictures of this event soon.

Fun 4th Weekend!!!

Boy, what an exhausting but GREAT weekend!!! We spent Saturday afternoon at my mom and dad's house (Grammy and P-papa). We had lots of toys to play with. Badmitton, softball, scooters, bubbles, etc.... These were only a few things out of the many things the girls had to keep them busy. We also had visitors while we were there, my sister Dana, her husband Todd, and their new little boy Noah. My Aunt Sue also came by to hang out for a little while. We had a blast!! Sunday, we went to our cabin on the Flint River. We had such a good time. Lots of memories were made. Carley, Anna Claire, and Daddy swam in the river while I observed and took pictures. We played catch and practiced hitting with the bat and ball. We grilled hot dogs and hamburgers and had watermelon for dessert. Last, we watched the fireworks while rocking in our swing overlooking the river. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend!!!

Vacation 2010 - St. Simons and Jekyll

Fun in the sun for 6 days!! We started out at the King and Prince on St. Simons Island. The view was wonderful from our balcony. We arrived on Sunday, June 20 (father's day). While we were there, Brent and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary. The ironic thing is that we haven't been back to St. Simons on our anniversary since we said I do. We really enjoyed being able to show the girls where we had our reception and where we stayed our first night after we got married. It was great being able to share these things with our two girls. We spent most of our time on the beach or in the pool. It was very hot and humid everyday so we had to stay cool. The girls had an awesome time swimming and playing in the sand. We also went to the Jekyll Island water park halfway through our trip and had a blast. We will be going back to that park on our next trip. We stayed on Jekyll Island our last three nights and loved it!!! It is so peaceful and serene there. The beach never appears packed. Overall, our vacation was great!! I can't wait to go again!!!

Fishing poles given to the girls from their daddy.

Anna Claire turned 4 on June 19. We had a GREAT day. First, daddy had a surprise for the girls and gave them a fishing pole. Next, we headed off for the MEGA playground at the boy scout camp. Needless to say, Anna Claire had a blast. Her guests had a blast too. She played with all of her friends, ate lots of cake and ice cream, spent time with her family, and opened lots of presents. She (and her mama) were exhausted when it was all over. I cannot believe that she is already 4. Time flies. I love her and her big sis so much!! I am glad that we were able to get together and celebrate this special day for Anna Claire.

Dance Recital - 2010

Dance Recital, May 13, 2010. Carley and Anna Claire were beautiful as always. They made their mama and daddy very proud. We had a great time watching all of the performances. The theme was Viva Las Vegas. Elvis was a dance favorite of the night. Carley danced to Circus Ballerina and Anna Claire danced to Magic Tutu. They both did a fantastic job!!!

My New Nephew!!!!!

Announcing Noah Wesley Livingston!! Weighing in at 8 pounds and 9 ounces. He was born on Monday, May 17 at 5:25 pm. He is such a blessing. Our whole family is so happy for my sister and brother in law. Noah was prayed for for several years and has finally made his way into such a loving family. God has a purpose for little Noah and I can't wait to see what he has in store for him. My two little girls are so excited and ready to help their Aunt Dana take care of him. They can't believe he is actually here. We are so thankful that God has blessed our family with a little boy. What a miracle!!!
